Dream Cliff Mountain Resort

Amazing retreat about 20 minutes from Haputale in the mountains. The rooms are spacious round huts, fully equipped with bathroom and a Verrada with breathtaking views. All is brand New and is very Clean. As we have been here off season, one is nearly alone all day. we had booked half Board and the food was delicious and plenty. Also the staff was very helpful and attentive and friendly. Perfect for day trips and hiking, but keep in mind it’s a bit in the middle of nowhere. The hotel was very helpful to organize transportation at reasonable rates. I would definitely recommend this hotel, also for a longer, relaxed stay, it has an amazing infinity pool.

The location is most probably the best view we have experienced apart from being at the top of the alps while skiing, it’s truly amazing and the beehive rooms are extremely quaint and perfect for a 2/3 night stay. The staff were very attentive and always had a smile on their faces and nothing was a problem. The infinity pool is also a must for photographs in.

During our two-week trip to Sri Lanka, we stayed at over eight hotels, and this one was by far one of our favorites. Despite its somewhat remote location, everything from the staff to the room, pool, and food was exceptional - definitely a 10/10 experience. The staff, in particular, stood out with their professionalism and attentiveness, from the reception team to the waiters and even the security guard. We genuinely enjoyed our stay here!

Wow..just wow, we were instantly captivated by the breathtaking panorama of Dream Cliff Mountain Resort. The views across southern Sri Lanka left us in complete awe - the definition of a picture-perfect location! Sr Lanka continues to marvel us and the rooms, food and staff hospitality at this resort were no exception. The entire team went above and beyond to cater to our every need. Sincere thanks to Vipula ‘Vips’ & the rest of the team for making our 20th Wedding Anniversary a truly memorable one. Our stay was nothing short of magical! We would highly recommend this gem to anyone seeking a luxurious retreat amidst nature's splendor. We were made to feel like part of one big family. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were welcomed in such a humble and traditional Sri Lankan way. We were shown to the beautiful vantage point overlooking the landscape beyond and we were blown away. Our beehive (Alexandrite) was incredible. It was spacious, clean, contemporary and tastefully decorated. The walk in shower over pebbles is really special. For meals we opted for half board which worked out well as there isn't anywhere near the hotel to eat. Service at breakfast and dinner was exceptional with very tasty food with a wide variety. Overall the staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. They organised for a tuk tuk driver to take us to Lipton Seat and also organised a taxi driver to take us to Mirissa when we had checked out. We also needed some laundry doing which was turned around very quickly. To our delight, the hotel put on a NYE party on 31st Dec - something we were not expecting! They really pulled out all the stops with food, drink, disco lights and DJ. We got up early one morning to watch the sunrise, it was so relaxing to sit amongst the beautiful flora and fauna. The hotel is in a remote location, a 15 minute drive from the town of Haputale. We had high expectations but everything was exceptional. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our stay so special.
